Origins

FEAL IT was founded by Fabien E. A. Landry.

IT stands for Information Technology, while FEAL is an acronym of his name.

The decision to impose this name felt natural after a thorough thought process. A process not so different than the one a potential customer must go through before deciding to engage with a company.

The name is pronounced ‘feel it’ and it refers to one of the three different stages of decision-making, which are:

  1. Thought stage- what and how should I decide based on available data?
  2. Feeling stage- what does the suggestion from the thought stage feel like?
  3. Action stage- is the decision made from the results of the feeling stage final? If not, repeat stage 1-3.

This is, of course, a generalization of the actual process.

Although the Feeling stage can be seen as a stage meant to assist in the decision-making, it is still a very important part of the process.
One could argue that the decision is not sound if one of the stages is left out of the equation.

This is where FEAL IT comes in.

With FEAL IT as part of your team, you get an approach with sound principles, that gives you greater opportunity to conclude your project in an optimal manner.
